Beyond Good & Evil's been in preproduction for 1 year.

For the last few weeks there have been numerous rumors popping up across the Internet and published in various game magazines regarding a sequel to Beyond Good & Evil; For the most part a bunch of insubstantial information from questionable sources.

But that changed last week when an article published in French game magazine JVM had an interview where Sir Michel Ancel (the creator of BG&E) plainly stated that BG&E has been in preproduction for about 1 year, and they’re awaiting the green-light from Ubisoft to  Move into full development .

This isn’t hearsay, or wild speculation on veiled hints, this is the real deal.

The actual article is available here on JVM’s web site  http://www.jeuxvideo.fr/beyond-good-evil-preproduction-actu-139816.html

(atleast GameSpot says it's their website www.gamespot.com/news/6190987.html)
………………………

and Ps if you wonder why I have “Sir” in front on Ancel’s name it’s because he along with Shigeru Miyamoto, and Frédérick Raynalwere were knighted by the French Minister of Culture and Communication as knights of arts and literature.

Cool news. I'd buy it, although it'd probably be realsed on the new consoles I don't have yet.

Here's the page translated to Eng if it makes a difference.
