Well, Unleashed » I've been trading games like crazy lately, and I keep accumulating sealed games; many of which I've yet to open. It isn't for the sake of maintaining value, but more that I haven't had the time to play them yet. I know that a lot of collectors choose to purchase games sealed and then never open them, but I've never been too keen on that idea simply because I'm not that type of collector. Do you keep games sealed for value or just until you find the time to play them? If at all, that is.

I only take games out of their package I intend to play, usually I do it right away so I can make sure it works, and that I like it.
Anything else I leave sealed to maintain its retail value, or if it’s a game I particularly like I’ll have both a sealed one for collecting and an unsealed one for playing.

I think I'm too childish to keep games sealed for very long. I always want to tear open the packaging and flip through the booklet and see what the disc looks like.

Personally, I don't buy any games new just to have them sealed. If I'm going to have a game I like, I'll open it. Mint/clean is just as good as sealed if its something I like.
I'm really more of a game player though. I am not really a true collector type.
