Newsletter Signup Updates.

I have recently updated my Newsletter Signup form to include addresses (yeah, I know I should have included that to start.  Hey, I'm learning here!).  If I don't have your mail address yet and you want to recieve SpGa mail, you can easily update your info thru either:

• The link to your email preferences sent to you after you confirmed your email
  
• The Newsletter Signup form at the bottom of the page on the SpGa website (don't worry, you won't be signed up twice and get dupe emails)

So for people I have addresses of, be sure to watch your mail!  For people I don't have your addresses, please update your info!

Nintendo Power subs for $3.99 per year!

As a special New Year's gift, 1 year subscriptions to Nintendo Power are $3.99 per year valid on Tuesday, January 1, 2008 only (until Midnight EST)!  The regular subscription price thru Nintendo is $19.99 per year - I have not seen subs to NP for cheaper than this deal.  The Deal of the Day for today, New Year's Eve (or what's left of it) is Game Informer for $4.99 per year.  Personally, I don't really care for Game Informer and don't subscribe to that one so I haven't mentioned that one so much.  I have personally subscribed for 2 years of various magazines thru this company, so I hand choose them as an affiliate for that reason.

A few notes for those that need to know:

• No, it doesn't auto-renew when your subscription is over.  You get only for what you pay for.
• The screen where it says discounts, processing fee, etc. is confusing so know you pay JUST the price in bold, no extra fees are added.  The way its worded is just confusing.
• By subscribing, you will be added to their email list, however they typically only email once per month - on discount subs of course - and you can unsub from their email list anytime.
• Yes, you can use it to renew or add on to your existing subscription if you have one - just click "renew" and use the same name on your existing sub.
• Link to Deal of the Day is only good for Midnight EST of day listed. 
  
• No, you don't get a free subscriber gift.  (C'mon, its only $3.99!!)

Well, I'm going out for a pizza pretty soon here.  All work and no eat makes me very jittery.  But I'll be doing LOTS of work on the website the next few days and this new year.  Look for exciting new features to come!
