Has anyone here played it? The backgrounds and scenery are excellent. Everything about it is excellent, really. Especially the writing.
Neep. Personally, the look and writing of Penny Arcade I consider to very contrived and overwhelming trying too hard to be funny than actually being funny. The Penny Arcade is appealing to a younger alternative culture of high school/college age, which I'll admit that I don't share those interests, so its probably why I don't "get" it.
Also, I consider this to be more graphic adventure than strategy/war. (so I moved it) Knowing their background, even if it does have strategy elements, most likely its some kind of meta-spoof on the politics of gaming. Ha ha ha.
If you say the game is excellent however, I'll take your word on it and be nice.
