Clicking the apostrophe key brings up the Search Box [seems to be fine now]

[okay, seems the apostrophe key ' seems to be working okay now.  Maybe the issue was with my FireFox browser... oh I get frustrated when things are working and I have no idea why]

For some reason, when clicking on the apostrophe key, instead of an apostrophe, the browser search box comes up.  Whats going on here?  Why does SMF suck so much crap???

Also, the Home and End keys dont seem to do a dang thing when I press em.  I dont know the reasons or solutions to either of those freak issues.

I think it's just the browser becuase apostrophe opens Firefox search on any site (I didn't know apostrophe did too), so does froward slash. But I tried typing an apostrophe when inside a text box and it was fine.
