I just downloaded the demo, and I'm about to give it a go. I'll most likely post a writeup of it on the main page. Has anyone given it a go yet?

no, but I played a demo of the original on Xbox and it pissed me off because they didn’t even bother to make any gradient of movement, so whether you’d move the analog stick a little bit or a lot you still moved at the same speed which is really lame.

Preview = Posted! It's sort of brief, but so is the demo. 
And now I'm off to complete Penny Arcade Adventures Episode 1. I'm tempted to do a review but it's in an awkward grey area where it isn't retro, but it also isn't new enough to really have a reason to be written about. Or at least that's how I see it. Perhaps I'll review it and just post it on the boards.
