I just beat it, finally. It's actually the first I've played in the series but wow is it awesome. I own the first three, so I'm going to go back and beat those as well.
Are there any DMC fans here?

But you're dante, and this is only the first one for you?

I'm somewhat of a fan, I've only beaten DMC1 & DMC4. I got halfway through DMC3 but I guess I wasn't hardcore enough to beat it. I did like that Dante was in SMT Nocturne. He was pretty difficult to aquire but well worth it.

Ha! Very true. I have a bad habit of skipping over games I know I'll probably like. I get so overwhelmed!
I had no idea he was in Nocturne. I want to collect all the SMT games but I can never find any of them.

I own the first one; I didn’t really care for it.

You get him near the end of the game. He's involved in some of the story parts which is cool. You have to complete the extra dungeon which you can only advance through once you beat these optional bosses throughout the game. And like all optional bosses these guess aren't easy. Probably some of the hardest RPG fights I've done.

I always heard to stay away from DMC2. I played it once but don't remember much about it. I really liked the first one, I beat it a couple times. Not sure how well it holds up.

Every time I try to get into a DMC game, I just can't last longer than an hour before I just get fed up with the games. I guess I'm just not wired for those kind of games. It's wierd really, because if you look at the game descriptions it should be one I like but I just can't get into them.
