If you know me, you know Touch Detective is my favorite DS game.  Touch Detective 2½ is good too, but I like the first better.  The good thing about 2½ is that they didnt do a total makeover of the game for the sequel.  The second feels much like the second chapter in a book.

The game that Touch Detective reminds me of mostly is Maniac Mansion Day of the Tentacle, which I have to say is a very high praise comparision.  Obviously, I really liked Day of the Tentacle very much as well.

Just heard by email that Touch Detective 2½ has been dropped to $9.99 from $14.99 at GameStop.  For that price, people should get it for sure!  I suggest getting and playing the first Touch Detective first however, makes the second much more enjoyable.  Lowest price I've seen on the original Touch Detective is $16 clearance at Fred Meyers.

Tis a bit tragic that such a great game is being sold so cheap.  Also I agree that the 1st was a bit better.

Definately.

My friend said he just got the first for $15 clearance at Walmart.   I hope its sold well enough that  if a sequel was planned, they would not decide to cancel it.

I wish it did well enough for there to be any kind of merch on it.  The soundtrack is great and I would buy it with money.  And they could do a plush of Funghi!   B)   At least I got that poster from you (or is it Jeff?) so at least I got something.
