Who else is excited!? I love me some Katamari, and I'm delighted that the original creator is releasing a new game. It's a PS3 download, and retails for $4.99. It's similar in concept to the classic game Snake, in that you're a lengthy creature going about and devouring things before you. The length your character is at the end is added on to an ongoing line of Nobys from other players around the world. When they extend long enough to reach a new planet, a new level is unlocked. Sounds like a whole new level of teamwork to me.
Here's a preview written by Brian Ashcraft [whom I recently interviewed], and a screenshot

I never heard of it - except from you.  But then I don't really pay attention to any current generation home console games.

How bout some links and pictures for those more ignant like myself?

I have never heard of that either, but makes me wish I still had my PS3. Could be entertaining.

Best $5 I've ever spent. As soon as I get home from work tonight I'm going to play this for hours.

I'm also a big Katamari fan. I saw a video about Noby Noby boy and after 10 minutes of watching the video I still had no clue what the objective is. It definatly had that quirky Katamari feel. Too bad I don't own a PS3 or I'd get this.
