Let me tell you my horror story.
I bought my first 360 new, and bought the extended warranty, right out of the gate the 360 didn’t work so I sent it in (which was free), then they sent me a new one and never bothered to transfer the warranty to the new one (which also doesn’t work correctly), I sent something in as I was told to do, I did this 3 times with no response.
I’ve tried again recently and now you no longer get the luxury of talking to an incomprehensible foreigner, and you are instructed to do it online, which I looked at and it’s worthless.
I’ll try sending emails and snail mail but I really doubt it will do anything for me.

The whole experience has left me incredibly frustrated, and hopeless that anything will get done.

I think the best thing to do would be to get out the flamethrower and go to Redmond, and start dishing out some incendiary love,
Having MS employees burning alive would really be too good for them; but on second thought since they’re from hell it probably wouldn’t even hurt them, maybe holly water?

What you might want to try is to send an EECB, go to www.consumerist.com for more details. When I've had some completely unsatisfactory and unhelpful solutions, I did that a couple times to Cingular/AT&T and got positive results within a couple days. Just make sure NOT to mention the flamethrower or get too heated. That does not end well, possibly with guys in black suits and sunglasses showing up at your doorstep.

I’m going to contact the general MS phoneline and email first (as opposed to the 360 one), if that doesn’t work I’ll try that. Thanks. :)

I know what not too say:

No threats of bodily harm,
Derogatory remarks,
Swearing,
Or Screaming. Lol
