Its cool you want to get into the game industry after school, what schools are you looking at right now?  I'm on my way to check out Digipen right now(Im in Oregon right now as well!!!) to see what the school is like, also saw FullSail a few months ago as well. 

From what I gather so far though the best schooling for game design is self taught, schools can teach u how to use languages and software but not creativity.  So i'm polishing up with a small xna game for the dream&build program, hopefully i like what i come up with

I'm already in a school called briarcliffe college, i've been in it since last summer. i'm actually going for computer graphics, i want to make  the stories, character art and the covers and booklets.
