I've been playing Jeanne D'Arc for SPSP.  Its good, fun, boring and I've fallen asleep to it while playing many times - my highest praise.

Gameplay is like Saiyuki: Journey West or Vandal Hearts.

Got to ending of Jeanne D'Arc last night.  Reading the credits, found that the animation cutscenes in Jeanne D'Arc were done by Studio Ghibli which means the game is ver nice to watch.

I tried my best to stay awake during the end boss battle because the game is very easy to fall asleep to - or maybe its just the PSP?

The big gripe I have with Jeanne D'Arc is that the Quicksave option doesn't seem to work correctly for me.  Normally the game can only be saved between battles.  But there is a Quicksave option in the battle menu to temporarily save a game in progress during a battle - in theory.  It does clearly state that the Quicksave will be deleted on loading a Quicksave.  However, every  time I would try the Quicksave option, when I woul turn on my PSP and select Resume Quicksave, it would say "There is no data."  Seeing that each time would be very frustrating of course, so I just gave up didn't use the Quicksave option after that.

Any game that is slow paced enough to fall asleep to I think MUST have a reliable in-battle save option or its really too high maintenance to play - because that means when I fall asleep while playing, when I wake up I have to stay awake long enough to play until I get to a point where I am able to save.
