In a minute of weakness, I bought a PSP 2000 from Amazon a week ago.

Its actually the first time I've held one in my hands.  This PSP is really long, slender, black and shiny - which I dislike actually.  When I put my hands on it, it easily gets all smudgey so I'd have to wipe it down.  It has all these menus when I turned it on too - it seems like a computer.

Yeah, I loved my PSP when I had one. Flash it with custom firmware, loaded custom XMB setups and played roms on it all the time. Good stuff, I just got bored with it after a while. I have that tendency when it comes to handhelds though.

Sorry I’m a bit late.

“Long black and shiny”, taken out of context that could sound kind of impropriate. Lol

it’s too bad it’s a different size than the first PSP, Because I have a silicone skin for one (I think I may have gotten it from you).

When you have some free time look online to see what you can do with it, it’s a very powerful piece of hardware; you can run all sorts of roms and go online with it at wifi hotspots.
I know becouse I bought a PDA recently (I’ll post about it later) and when I do searches for stuff I occasionally run into stuff about the PSP.

I can't figure out how to get online with my home wireless network.  I intend to mainly use it to play games on, as I already have a laptop for wifi if I know I'm going somewhere with free wireless.

My comb is ALWAYS appropriate.  I keep it in my pants wherever I go.

Obvious question, but do you have the WLAN switch flipped? I'm surprised it doesn't work! Went fairly smooth for myself.
You'll figure it out!

I THINK so, I dunno.  I noticed the WLAN switch if it makes a difference.   :k

I saw Patapon 2 cheap somewhere and was thinking about it.  But from seeing the cover I couldn't tell what kind of game it was so I passed on it.  I just remember because I couldn't figure out what it was.

It's a strategy/rhythm-based game that finds you and your patapons in a war. If you want them to attack, for example, you would press triangle, triangle, square, triangle, and they would chant "pon, pon, pata, pon!" and attack. There's quite a bit to do for the budget price, and the game definitely invites repeated playthroughs as there are tons of secret items to obtain.
