Rob over here on Whidbey Island, sorta of a long distance,on again-off again member of NWCGE...current fuel prices and drive times keep me from gatherering with the group more often.Glad I went to CGE last year, since there not going to be one this year.Had a great time last year, and haven't been to any local events due to work schedule and other crap going on!!
Have just moved in to my new Man-uary,a 35' x 20' room, all my own, which houses my 6000 videogames and all the systems needed to play them. Will post pictures later,it's a hobby-room in progress. The room is also shared with vintage audio gear and model trains, but the videogames take up a big part of the available room.Would like to say hi to all the local gamers, know a few around here (Rick,Lee,Hans, and the others),and want to invite gamers to the Mancave when it FINALLY done, which will happen...someday!!   Rob

Hi Rob and welcome to the website.

I can't recall if I've met you at the NWCGE events or not.  I'll be at the next NWCGE for sure, likely have a table - stop and say hello.

Model trains sound cool.  I used to be into slot cars myself - like I mean really into slot cars as it took up my whole play room.

I've been to Whidbey Island many times, a very gorgeous place to visit.  Although I haven't been there for probably 5+ years, it did used to be one of my favorite places to vacation (when I actually did used to vacation...), seemed like I was always going there.

Man, I feel really out of place.  I'm on the opposite side of the country as everyone else.  Welcome to Specialty Gamer. Pictures would be great.  My dwelling is a work in progress really, so no pictures until I'm done.  The girl also has to be willing to let me take pictures.  She hates the idea of my "man-cave".
