Hey y'all (does anyone really say that?)

It seems I'm the only one on here that lives in the south.....

Like everyone else, I am a somewhat game collector. I started gaming back in the Atari days, when my older sister abandoned her 2600 and the 2600 games hit rock bottom prices and could be picked up for a couple of bucks in dump bins at the local REV CO drugs. I usually spent my allowance as a kid on 2600 games and baseball cards at the drug store. I eventually got a NES (only had 8 games for it the whole time it was around originally). By the time I was old enough to cut yards and make my own $$, I got into the Genesis, and later SNES. I even did a 5 year stay at Electronics Boutique in high School and College (1995 to 2000).

I mostly dig older 16 bit age stuff. I have most (or have had in the past) major systems from the Atari 2600 to present stuff. I really dig shmups, action/adventure/arcadey type games. I used to love RPGs, but haven't really played one since the PS1 days (mainly because of time).  I do have some, but only put a couple of hours into them and haven't had time to go back to them. I seem to mostly play DS stuff lately.

I got onto this site from Sir Moy, who I have been trading games with on Cheap Ass Gamer for a couple of years. He traded me a Sega Mega Drive a few years ago, and I have been pestering him ever since!

If anyone is after trading old games, drop me a message.

Hi there.

Nice to see you make up a little Intro thread.   :D   Well, there is two people from Indiana - then there's Dant from CA.  Then everyone else is from the NW.  I'd like to see more peeps from the south on here, you ought to tell some of your buddies.  (nudge nudge, hint hint,  ;) ;)

Actually, there is two other people not from the NW as members too.
