I will be writing up a more detailed preview writeup in Features later when I have time, but I wanted to at least add this discussion thread on the show.

Details that I know so far are that it is presented by NWCGE , sponsored by Video Game Wizards.  August 2 and 3, 2008 to be held in the same location as last year - the Holiday Inn on 8439 NE Columbia Blvd near PDX airport in Portland, OR.  http://www.retrogamingexpo.com/

Admission is:
  • $10.00 for 1 day (Saturday OR Sunday)
  • $15.00 for both days
  • Family plan - $25.00 for up to 5 people for 1 day
  • Family plan - $40.00 for up to 5 people for both days
Excellent opportunity to get all the rare (and not so rare too!) stuff on  segaNintendoAtariCDINeoGeo , and every other system that there currently is not an icon for!

I will be out of town on the date of the show, so unfortunately Specialty Gamer will not be a vendor.

Excellent.

Maybe you can write up the event preview page and then I can just publish it.  Its not like I have to author EVERY page on here.   ;)   (just kidding, if you don't want I'll do it when I can)

Yes, I finally got around to writing up the preview article to Retro Gaming Expo.  And while I was thinking of it, I put out a Newsletter too.

So, looks that Chuck put up a forum now on the official Portland Retro Gaming website yesterday.  With that up, why stay here?  Go there!
