Just to start, if you don't get the joke from the title, I'm not explaining it.  Onto the introduction.  You obviously have the name, and I'm an average 22 year old.  I work as a Systems Engineer for business technology consulting firm.  It can get as boring as it sounds. I was born and raised in the completely boring state of Indiana.

I've always been into tinkering with electronics and computers. I've taken just about everything I've ever owned apart, and put it back together. Not always leaving it in a working condition, but learning a valuable lesson. I'm a huge gamer and own just about every console NES forward. I like to think that I'm a huge movie buff and have a 500 DVD collection to go along with that statement. The living room in my place devoted to entertainment. It is my sanctuary and a great place to just chill.  Also a good place to crank up the music to annoy the neighbors. My music tastes are from all genres. I could be listening to Hank Williams Jr, then switch to the B-52's, then to Johnny Cash and complete it all at HellYeah or Lil' Wayne.

One my more oddball hobbies, is that I participate in demolition derbies. There is nothing quite like getting in a car and intentionally going as fast as you can and hitting someone else. It is a great stress reliever and can also bring about some very entertaining moments. You can also get the scary "Oh my god I'm going to burn alive!" moments as well. You take the good with the bad.

Anything else you want to know, just ask, within reason of course.

Do you have any videos of you driving in a demolition derby?

I don't have last years, but I do have the year before.  I was actually going to quit that year because it had become like a job, but I had some much fun that night, it just kind of rekindled my love of doing it.  I might have pictures somewhere of this years too. Now I have to go look.

*UPDATE* These are the only pictures I have of this past years car.  I may have some old pictures, I'm working on getting a video as we speak. Well I got a video on youtube, but it did something funny since it came from the DVD direct.  Need to convert it to WMV then upload to youtube.  Stupid Youtube.

Here is the video, I can't figure out how to embed it directly so here is the link.

This particular heat only lasted 11 minutes, but I went out around 5 minutes into it.  Got 7 or 8 place.  Good times.

Yes, you will notice that I added a feature so that videos auto-embed by themself.  So go ahead and hit that "Play" button!

You are a king, I spent about 20 minutes last night trying to figure that out and couldn't.  Now after looking at what you put I know how to do it.  I wont do that often, but is nice to know.

Hey, you just gotta ask me "how do I..." and if I can figure out how to do it - or code it so its possible - then I will.  You ended up making sort of an unintentional suggestion there!

Are you sure making videos inbedible is a good idea, I always get tons of porn spammers on my forum even with capta coding.

Yeah, I've seen some pretty bad stuff from direct embeding. I was just trying to do it for the sake playing around/testing.

It doesn't auto  embed ANY video.  Just from various trusted sites like YouTube, etc.  Moderators can delete spam sites, put them on the blacklist - ban the users that post those and their IP address.  Plus I figure its easier to have videos auto-embed than having people ask how to do it.

Haha, I got your joke in the OP.  Now I know a little bit more about you.

What's your favorite video game of all time overall?

I dunno if I'll bother with an introduction since I'm boring.

Wow.  That's a really tough question. There isn't a single one game I like more than others. I can pick out favorites in genres though.

Fighting: Tekken 3
Shooter: Call of Duty 4
Beat'em Up: God Hand
Racing: Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (I know, blasphemy, but I love that game)
Open World: GTA IV
RPG: Final Fantasy VIII (however, Lost Odyssey is really coming close to beating that)

I know their are other genres, but those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head. It's good to see another Hoosier on this board.  Was beginning to feel all lonesome.

Need for Speed: HP is very good.  I loved that game back in the day.

Lost Odyssey is also terrific.  Definitely my favorite 360 game this year, so far.  I just didn't have time to play it for a while, but now time is opening up.

I haven't been on Specialty Gamer as much as I should have been, I feel like I've been lacking in my duties.  Since I had a broken hand, typing was quite annoying and painful at times so I had to step back for a while.  Had the woman taking care of it for a while, but she grew tired of doing that. Now that everything is healed, you should be seeing more articles (namely game reviews) and posts in the talk boards from me.  I should be on most of the when I'm near a computer.

Well I may not be in Southern Indiana for much longer. Looks like my company is going to be transferring me BACK to the Indianapolis office. The same office that I was just at 7 months ago. Ridiculous. Wish they would just make up there minds.
