What Game are you currently playing? And give us your thoughts on it.
...............................
Currently I'm playing Voodoo Vince ( XB ) it's looking to be a very good platformer, I realy like the music.
I feel kind of nostalgic playing it because it's one of the first games I played on an XB kiosk (along with splinter cell) years back before I even owned one.

On PC - I am playing Styrateg (about to beat) and Puzzle Quest
On PS1 - I am playing Lunar Silver Star Story Complete (about to beat!)
On DS - I am playing Hoshigami Remix

Haven't had time lately to play any console....

I'll post again when I play something else new.

On my PS3 I'm alternating between the Orange Box and Battlefield: Bad Company. On my 360 I'm having to replay through Assassins Creed, because of slight hard drive mishap.

*UPDATE* Now I'm not going be playing much of anything because of a broken right hand.  Really sucks.

Just got thru Arc the Lad chapter I, playing thru Arc the Lad II which is really fun.  You get to go on missions, so it has some fetch quest type elements - which I like very much!

I won Voodoo Vince which I really enjoyed playing (it took me 11 hours to win), so I rented Rainbow Six Vegas (360) it’s your average tactical FPS.
It isn’t nearly as good as the Brothers in Arms games; the enemies were a whole lot smarter and you could employ more advanced tactics, and the story was better.

A while ago I caught a flu, so I rented several games, and haven’t gotten around to writing about all of them until now.

I won Rainbow Six Vegas (360, tactical FPS) I’d say it was about average length and was well polished with some memorable moments, the only thing I didn’t really like about it was its “to be continued” ending but you do do something that’s “ending worthy” before that comes up. it isn’t something like Halo 2’s ending.

After I won R6 Vegas is when I caught the flue, so I rented a couple more games.

First I got Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (360, tactical FPS):
It should’ve been called Rainbow Six Vegas 1.5.
I didn’t see anything that would make me think it’s a real sequel, the single player was extremely short, it lacked the polish and cool well-made casino locations of the original, and it just it seemed half assed (I even saw some enemies appear out of thin air)
I saw tons of recycled things, and heard recycled voice acting, recycled credits background.
And The ending boss battle was horribly clichéd and didn’t really fit with Rainbow Six IMO.

After I won that I rented Condemned 2 (360, horror FPS) there were too many guns so it wasn’t the same as the first one, it was still fun though being able to throw weapons was cool, And you had freer reign to do what you wanted during the forensics parts. (In the first one it was “do this, with that forensic tool”).
The story was pretty good and you finally find out who’s causing all the insanity, though why they’re doing it is still a mystery (set aside for Condemned 3 no doubt, lol)

Then I rented Battlefield bad company (360, FPS) it had good voice acting and a pretty good story, I was disappointed I couldn’t destroy whole buildings (I guess I’ll have to wait for Red Faction 3 for that)
It gives me hope for mirror’s edge (another EA developed game).

Fear Effect (PS1) it’s kind of an action adventure stealth game (with controls like the resident evil games)
I only got about an hour into it before it kept freezing, it did it on my PS2 and Play-Station, it’s realy annoying because the disk is absolutely perfect, it must’ve been burned wrong at the factory. :(
It sucks I got a good deal on it ($10) and now I need to find it again.

Currently I’m playing Gex (PS1) it’s a side scrolling platformer, starring a gecko that’s been sucked into the TV dimension and has to play through TV themed levels, this gives you a wide range of levels. One cool thing about it is since he’s a gecko he can climb on walls and ceilings. Also you get several power-ups: spit fire spit lightning, spit ice, jump higher, run faster, and invincible.

Still playing Arc the Lad II.     Its a really big game!  Almost 80 hours in.

Hopefully you can play blackjack as a blackjack player in Rainbow Six Vegas.      (I would be interested in the game if you can play blackjack in the casinos.  I wouldn't care about the shooting at people, people shooting at you parts though.)

Could it be obvious I don't know anything about that game?      When you mentioned the game and I saw "Vegas" in the title, what comes to my mind is - I hope it has blackjack!

The new Brothers in Arms is decent. If you liked the first ones you'll definitely like this one as well. The multiplayer is aggravating right now, but I assume they will patch it properly here soon.  It is on my list of games to review for SpecialtyGamer. I've gotten behind on writing those up because I've picked up so many games lately. My current rotating playlist is

Spider-man: Friend or Foe
Mercenaries 2: World in Flames
Madden 09
Lego Batman
Lego Indiana Jones
Rock Band 2

I keep bouncing from one to another. I'm actually work on creating a list, of the order I want to beat certain games so I can stick to it. Of course with Fable II, Fallout 3, and Gears of War 2 coming out in next 30 days I'm not sure how well I'll be able to stick with that.

Lego Batman sounds cool.  They have Lego Batman toys at McDonalds right now - of actual Legos!

Its always cool when a place puts video game toys as their kid's meal toys.  If you like the game, maybe you ought to get a Happy Meal!

I've actually been going around to different GameStops and GameCrazys to try and finagle some free keychains from the preorder stuff.  Only able to get the catwoman so far. Apparently no one wanted that one.  Might have to get the happy meal. That would be awesome.

I always check the game stores and BestBuy etc, for game fliers etc, I figure maybe in like 10-20 years they’ll be worth something. I’ve got like 50 of those windows vista pamphlets; if they’re ever worth anything I’ll be rich. lol
Once I start my college classes I’m going to work at Game Crazy, and then my opportunities for getting promo stuff will be increased exponentially.  \:D/
