I'm back from PAX in Seattle and boy are my legs tired!  I carpooled w/ Chuck of Recycled Gamer, John and Rick.  I gave Gerald a call - who lives in Seattle, and he showed up to hang out too.

NWCGE was represented at the show by Nathan Martin and his classic console freeplay room.  At sometime, I will write an article in the Features section here about the show.  Also, there was some preview games not yet released that really interested me.  I think I'll do some preview articles on those that interested me.

Unforch, the selection of free trinkets was sparse.  Nintendo , Atari , sega , PS1 , XBOX were all there... but none of those had any promo goods - besides advertising cards.  Other places DID have free stuff, just seemed none of the mega-companies did.  The best of show were probably Fallout 3 and Namco Club store.

I even have pictures from the show!  Gotta get em from John though as I borrowed his camera.  I forgot to put the media card in my digital camera.  Ah!!  :handslappingforehead:

I've been wanting to go to PAX since they announced the first one, just isn't fiscally possible for me right now.  I swear to it that I will be there at some point in time.  I must be there because every year it just seems to get better and better.

Send me a note if you ever do make it out to one and we'll hang out.  I just a 3 hour drive from Seattle and most likely will go again if they continue to have it in Seattle.

I just posted my writeup of the PAX event.  The article is in progress however, as not all the pics are up yet - so might look a little strange - but I wanted to write down the details before I forget them.

It only took me a month to get things straight enough to update my PAX review with the pics I took.  Some of them at least.  I thought I'd taken more, but I guess not.  And yeah, they mostly did not turn out very bright.  The PAX Expo Hall was very dark so it wasn't very good for taking pictures.

I don't know when I'll get to it, but hopefully will update the article when I can with all the pictures that are supposed to be there.
