Desert Strike for SNES

Has anyone ever plaid this game before?

I remember a little bit, about flying around, blowing up buildings, and picking up random people, perhaps POW I don't remember...

I guess my question is, is it even worth looking for a copy of it now a days, or was this mainly due to me being young, and not really knowing better.

Oh yeah!  The Desert Strike series is a classic!!

Man that game was sweet!  (but hardcore hard)  Its definately a must-play titles for Genesis!      I know it was released to SNES, but Desert Strike made its name on the Genesis (and its the version I grew up playing) so that's the system I associate it with.  It was so sweet for its time, as you could pretty much fly around, explore, mess around and do what you like in the game if you didn't feel like following the missions.  Plus those graphics were super nice looking plus it had the cool isometric 3D angles.

Doing a quick look thru my stuff, I'm not seeing a spare copy - but if I come across a spare of it, (on any system) I'll hook you up.      Its a fairly common title since it was so popular, I'd give it to you for no more than $5 (if I come across a spare).

If I come across any of the others in the Desert Strike series, I can let you know.  The original Desert Strike I think was the most notable - and I personally spent the most time on.

Oh yeah, otherwise its common enough that if you look thru thrifts, pawns or other game stores that still carry the classic stuff - you WILL find copies of it.
