Even though Brian seems to not enjoy the music/rhythm games, I have found them to have their uses. I pre-ordered the 2nd Rock Band after having a decent amount of time with the first one. I used to hate these games because I was complete crap at them. I play real guitar so getting used to these plastic ones and how they work was just horrible. With Rock Band I normally sing and it works out well.

Rock Band 2 is great because it works with all the original instruments and they fixed many of the things that were wrong with the first one. You only have to create one character and they can be any member of the band. Also, they got rid of the solo tour and just made one gamewide tour.  Many things that are for the online with different contests/battles really makes it fun.

I plaid gutiar hero (the aerosmith one.) but I could not grasp the hang of it, yet I'm decent at playing a real guitar, so in that aspect I can see where your coming from.

When I do decide to get back into, playing the current gen. systems do any of these games have multi person compatability online?

What exactly do you mean by the multi-person online?
