Picked up this game yesterday and have to say that I'm definitely very pleased with it. Now, there are some very negative reviews out about this game, and while not entirely justified they can be understood. For the most part there isn't too much about this game that sets it apart from every other 3rd Person Shooter.  The story is standard fair and the graphics are on par with what we are used to seeing in a current-gen title. I refuse to continue using the phrase next-gen. This generation is here, deal with it.

Anyways, what does set it apart from most other games like it, is the ability to form the battle ground with your weapons and abilities.  You have an entrencher, which will let you either raise or lower the ground around you.  This can be useful getting to other parts of the level or blocking in enemies to keep them from attacking. The weapons can also be used to mold the battleground to your needs and use the ground itself as a weapon.

The multiplayer, definitely not up to snuff yet, and I really wonder how many people have purchased this game because I can hardly find anyone online playing the game. It's only going to get harder to find a game after Dead Space, Fable II, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, and Call of Duty 5 come out. Luckily, I didn't pay full price for the game and it is definitely not worth the full $60.
