I picked this up the other day and I have to say that I'm very impressed.  This is by far the best Spider-man game that has ever been made.  They have pretty much nailed the entire Spider-man universe and especially the web slinging. I'll turn on the game just to go and swing through the city for an hour or two.  The fight system is also very intuitive and great. You can also choose between the symbiote suit and the regular suit, each with it's own abilities and special attacks. If you have the means to pick this up I highly recommend it.

Wow, to say that is the best Spiderman game that has ever been made is saying a lot.  All the Spiderman games are of very high quality.

Oh definitely. I just feel that this game truly made you feel like you were Spider-man, with the web slinging being so intuitive and the wall crawling being fluid. The game really pulls you in.

I beat this last year when it came out and it impressed me. Sadly it reviewed as a mediocre game which I disagre with. I'm a big comic book guy so the story had me conflicted on where they were drawing the story from and what they were trying to do with it. But the action is where it's at. The combat system is solid a the best part of the game.

I do agree with Josh that this is the best Spider-Man game to date. The last few were pretty bad (namely Spidey 3 & Friend or Foe) But I'd love to see more Spidey games based on this combat system.

Yeah, I would love to see an X-men game based off of this combat system. Maybe fix the camera angles this time around. Of course, an X-men game wouldn't necessarily have the same camera angle problems caused by the web slinging/building climb but still.

I could just imagine this. Wolvie jumping from Sentinel to Sentinel, Nightcrawler "bamfing" it up in the Savage Land fighting Sauron & Gambit firing a "52 card pick-up" at an army of Morlocks.
